Byron Chan (He/Him)

Byron is a registered physiotherapist who received his training from the University of Alberta. He is certified to practice Intramuscular Stimulation (Gunn IMS) and acupuncture under Acupuncture Canada. Byron has also taken courses in the McKenzie method, vestibular rehabilitation and advanced manual therapy.
Byron believes in providing customized treatment plans for each client’s needs. He uses a combination of manual therapy, needling and exercise prescription to help clients reach their goals. He has had experiences working with a variety of clients ranging from acute injuries, dizziness disorders, disc and other mechanical neck and back injuries, sport injuries, and long term injuries that are slow to resolve.
Byron has worked with running groups, triathlon clubs, yoga teachers and crossfit coaches. He has run a few half marathons and the BMO Vancouver marathon. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family, cheering for the Edmonton Oilers, running on the seawall and enjoying a fine craft beer.
