Leanne Wright (She/Her) /Massage Therapist

RMT

Leanne graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2002 and practiced in various clinical settings in southern Ontario until relocating to coastal British Columbia in 2011.

Throughout her years of practice, Leanne has often worked with individuals experiencing postural dysfunction from long commutes and screen time, headaches and muscle tension. She has also worked with many mountain sport athletes, runners and triathletes to address the injuries and overuse syndromes that interfere with optimal performance.

Leanne recognizes that individuals with similar conditions often have different goals for treatment and so she uses a range of techniques to create the appropriate treatment for each particular person on a given day. Leanne may incorporate Swedish massage, deep tissue, joint mobilization, stretching or myofascial release into a treatment and has begun training in craniosacral therapy.

If indoors, Leanne can usually be found reading research on the nervous and muscular systems, nutrition and psychology. Out of doors, she often heads for the trails in the company of her running shoes, mountain bike or skis.
